New Zealand is nature's greatest hits album compressed into two islands—glaciers, fjords, volcanoes, wine valleys, and beaches, all within a day's drive of each other.

"New Zealand's luxury lodges are the world's best-kept secret—intimate, immersive, and set in landscapes that make the Swiss Alps look suburban." — Condé Nast Traveler, 2024 Gold List

Why New Zealand

New Zealand welcomed 3.8 million visitors in 2023, with luxury and premium tourism growing at 30% annually—the fastest rate in Oceania.

"New Zealand has quietly become one of the world's great luxury destinations—not through opulence, but through experiences you simply can't have anywhere else." — Travel + Leisure, 2024

The Lodges

New Zealand's Luxury Lodges collection is legendary: Huka Lodge (Taupō), Matakauri Lodge (Queenstown), The Farm at Cape Kidnappers (Hawke's Bay), and Kauri Cliffs (Bay of Islands).

Claire's NZ Itinerary

My dream 14-day New Zealand circuit: Auckland → Bay of Islands/Kauri Cliffs (3 nights) → Rotorua for Māori cultural immersion → Hawke's Bay wine country at Cape Kidnappers (2 nights) → fly to Queenstown/Matakauri (3 nights, heli-hike Milford Sound) → drive to Glenorchy/Blanket Bay (2 nights). The helicopter flight over Milford Sound with a glacier landing is legitimately the most spectacular thing I've done in adventure travel. The Māori hangi feast in Rotorua is culturally significant and deeply moving.
