Fiji is my recommendation if you want private island luxury with real cultural depth. The Maldives wins on overwater villas and Seychelles wins on beaches, but Fiji wins on heart. Start with Six Senses for a first visit, upgrade to Kokomo for divers, and save Laucala for the once-in-a-lifetime splurge.
