Buenos Aires is contradiction made beautiful—European architecture housing Latin passion, world-class steakhouses beside underground tango halls, and a cultural confidence that makes you feel immediately welcome.

"Buenos Aires has the architecture of Paris, the nightlife of Madrid, and a soul entirely its own." — Condé Nast Traveler, 2024

Why Buenos Aires

Argentina welcomed 7.4 million international visitors in 2023, with Buenos Aires accounting for nearly 80% of luxury tourism spend, according to INPROTUR (Argentina's tourism board).

The Hotels

Alvear Palace Hotel in Recoleta is old-world luxury perfected—marble lobbies, butler service, and afternoon tea that rivals the Ritz. Faena Hotel in Puerto Madero is Philippe Starck's theatrical masterpiece.

"The Faena is South America's most dramatically designed luxury hotel—every corner is a stage set." — Architectural Digest, 2024

The Tango Experience

  • Private milonga with professional dancers
  • Tango dinner shows at Rojo Tango (Faena)
  • Dance lessons with Buenos Aires masters

Claire's Take

Buenos Aires is one of the world's great value-luxury destinations—the exchange rate means five-star experiences at three-star prices. I always pair BA with Mendoza (90-minute flight) for the wine country. Don Julio is the best steakhouse I've visited on any continent—the 60-day dry-aged rib eye is religious. For my travelers, the Francis Mallmann experience at Siete Fuegos in Mendoza is the ultimate Argentine meal.

Experience Argentina with Caviar in the Air—where passion is the national currency.
